    Hello Jim thanks very much for your message. I have yet to confirm it was an Airacobra but knowing my Uncle he was not mistaken. I have to look further into this incident as other than being fairly sure that Airacoba S.no. DS173 was at Colerne for a while ,I have nothing other than my Uncles testimony to go on. I will get some photos to you at some point once I know exactly what crashed and importantly as closesly as possible, where the crash site exactly is.
    I will look forward to get in touch again.
