johnny, I'm so sorry, I don't know your friend. We controlled the air sea rescue (I was a plotter) and the only thiing I can remember is very nice parties aboard the air sea rescue launches in Dover harbour. Once again, I'm sorry to have rather frivolous information. When I was injured the ops room was wrecked. There were approximately thirty WAAFS injured or killed at Biggin Hill I believe. Kitten
