Dear Arthur I am interested in obtaining photographs of COLIN JAMES CAMPBELL NZ403757 and 218 SQUADRON. Also information about where 218 Squadron trained. Colin was a school friend of my father's. In 1947 Colin's widow married my uncle. Sincere thanks. Ruth, New Zealand
Hello I do have some records of 502 at St Davids in Pembrokeshire but mine may not show that loss but will look when all this " Royal" nonsense is over and done with, I do have a list somewhere of all 502 Sqdn losses but that is not to hand either at the moment May I ask if you have a more personal involvement with this as I was researching my uncles time with 502 up till he was posted missing presumed killed in the Dec of that year while flying from Stornoway Regards Ant
Hi Digger, My computor crashed and I have lsot all your details, could you email when you can. John Williams. Australia.
Same here Eddy, someone sent me a message and I was lost for a while. e mail was easier eh? Glad you appear OK - roger and out, before we both get into a tangle! Digger
Hi Digger Better late than never!! I've never seen one of this sort of message before and only just spotted something different on my machine. I'm still battling on with all things 158 Sqn. We are putting a new memorial up at Lissett next May which will list the names of all those who lost their lives serving with the Sqn. That and other research will hopefully keep me busy and entertained. Cheers Eddie
