  1. Hi Bill,

    I'm trying to tie up a serial for my Anson MkII. The only cast iron idenity is the Main Spar built by Massey Harris, Weston, serial MHW 218, Mar 9/42.

    The current two possibles are 8249 and 11524

    The detail I have is:
    8249, One of 151 aircraft batch delivered by National Steel Car Corpn between 4/42 and 7/42. Hit by Lysander 2362 on 14/1/43 (from your pages). Only on strength of 8 BGS. SOC 15/1/47

    11524, One of 200 aircraft batch delivered by Victory Aircraft between 1/43 and 5/43. Served with 19 SFTS and 7 SFTS. SOC 19/8/46.

    Would you be able to add anything more from your paper files not yet posted on the serials page?
