Hi Pavel - I've just come across your post regarding Sgt L R Cowling and 4BGS. Did you ever find any more detail regarding Cowling? He appears on the war memorial I'm currently working on, so I can provide you with detail of death (though I'm sure you already have this), plus a couple of photos if they're still of interest. I'd love to know about his earlier (4BGS) period. Hoping to hear from you Pavel! Kind regards Shawn
Hi Pavel I've just been informed of the following Facebook page, of which I thought you might be interested: - http://www.facebook.com/pages/WO-Arnost-Mrtvy/108207902563324?v=wall Malcolm
Ahoj Pavle! Vím,že jste hodně zaneprázdněný. Přesto bych Vás chtěl požádat o laskavost. Nemohl by jste časem se mnou propátrat knihu Diver! Diver! Diver! by Brian Cull ? Respektuji Vaše rozhodnutí a pochopím když odmítnete. Předem Vám děkuji za ochotu. Zdravím Pavel
Pavel A very kind person has put some Czech grave pictures on www.ww2talk.com on a thread I set up. Please feel free to have a look and see if there are any that of use to you. There are New Zealand/Caribbean ones on there as well. They could do with someone of your calibre on there to advise on Czech matters. Perhaps you could register and then post a list of ones you need so you dont just get thousands.... Dee
Pavel I found some Czech graves at Cambridge City Cemetary. Will get them to you as soon as I get my computer brought into work...
Have offered myself as a volunteer to The War Graves Photographic Project www.twgpp.org but will do Czech graves for you anyway... Dee
