    Thank you for posting this. This was my Great Uncle. I have Douglas as my middle name in his memory (as does my Uncle and now my son). I was able to locate his war grave in Tunisia but until now have been unable to find his cause of death. The family story was that he was a despatch rider and he sadly lost in life when his motorcycle was in a collision with a lorry. This certainly seems to confirm the part of the family story.
