    Thanks chaps, yes don't know what happened as I have Magister written down. Tablet must have chosen Master instead and I never noticed it. Now too late to edit .

    Just to confuse things, this is on the forums data link for "610539" -

    "Circumstances of Death: Died in Hospital of injuries following the crash of Master T9676 which crashed near Thorne in Yorkshire on 19th September".

    Air 78 has his name as Nevil as does FreeBMD - Gloucester Qtr 4 1920

    I suspect CWGC is wrong as parents would have registered his birth

    Neville ( NEVIL in his records ) Murphy 905357 | attached to 12 OTU | Was killed in an air raid in St.Pancras, London his body being identified at St.Pancras hospital mortuary NW1
