    Hello

    DUDGEON, John - AC1 - RAFVR - 1342569 - the Stirling Observer of October 28th 1943 reported the following:

    DIED ON ACTIVE SERVICE
    A.C.1 John Dudgeon, R.A.F., son of Mr and Mrs Walter Dudgeon, 26 Douglas Street, Bannockburn, has died from an illness contracted while on active service in North Africa. Twenty-one years of age, he was a miner at Millhall Colliery in civil life. At one time he was one of five brothers in the forces. One was later killed while with the Black Watch, another was discharged from the R.A.F. Two brothers are still on service with the A. & S.H. in North Africa.

    UPGRADE to John Dudgeon 1342569 , died in Number 103 general hospital, Phillipville, of an acute intestinal obstruction

    Victor Albert Smith 1254426 , was admitted to RAF Hospital Matlock at 21:30 hours suffering from shock and concussion, dying shortly after admission. It was ruled that he had jumped off a building whilst the balance of his mind was disturbed

    Albert Green 1350589 , was admitted seriously ill to RAF Hospital Halton on 19 September where he died at 16:25 Hours of rheumatic fever

    Charles Frederick Quilliam 522358 , captured during the fall of Crete, died on or about 11 October 1943 in Stalag IX camp hospital at Obermassfeld, Germany, of empyema and supperative phlebitis secondary to acute appendicitis

    There was No cause of death listed in his records and this information was obtained via the purchase of a GRO overseas death certificate by myself

    Ronald Charles Green 1674787 | attached to 293 Wing | died in Number 47 British general hospital Calcutta of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident
