    Carr has been mentioned here before as a possible (probable?) member of the crew of Oxford BG665 of 15 (P)AFU.:

    CORNISH, James Henry - (S.Africa) - LAC - 55 RSU, possibly died from injuries sustained in the same incident as the others from this unit a few days before.
    SMITH, Frederick Bernard - LAC - He was serving with No 294 Sqn, and possibly died from injuries sustained when Wellington IC, DV492 skidded into a truck on take off from LG91.

    MASKERY, Harry - LAC - registeed in Grimsby.
    SANDS, Philip Alan - AC1 - registered in Gloucester Rural

    A R Lewis is given as killed in "Flying Accident" only by the CWGC records on ancestry.com

    Cemetery: BISHOP AUCKLAND CEMETERY
    Additional Information: Son of Francis and Alice Carr; husband of Edith Mary Carr. of Bishop Auckland. Newark coroner was told that Sergeant Carr the son of an engine fitter from County Durham who had married Edith Mary Atkinson in 1935, had been found shot dead in his bunk on 30 October. After hearing he was worried by his health and his RAF work, the coroner recorded a verdict of suicide.
