    ITALY
    REDDIN, Osborne Cyril - AC1 - 1427797 - the Lincolnshire Echo of January 3rd 1944 reported that he died in an accident while serving with the B.N.A.F.

    John Henry Donovan 1265496 , attached to RAF Bone, was dangerously injured in a road accident on duty on 11 December , and was admitted to Number 97 General hospital where he died at 02:20 Hours of a fractured pelvis

    Osborne Cyril Reddin 1427797 , a Wireless Operator, and

    1024633 Cpl I. Bayliss , a Wireless Operator, and


    1445225 AC F. Halls , a Wireless mechanic , all attached to Number 297 Wing,

    were engaged in the unit's movement from Bizerte to Cerignola 3 Airfield via Naples , when thier vehicle crashed on the mountainous roads, Reddin being killed and the other airmen suffering serious injuries

    Lancelot Frank Oliver 1460209 , a Ground gunner, was taken ill whilst on leave and was admitted to the Camp reception station of Number 178 Field Ambulance at Polegate, where he died of peripheral circulatory faliure secondary to influenza

    Maxwell Rupert Johnson 302783 | died at home at Carfrae Terrace, Plymouth of heart failure following aortitis and myocarditis with his wife, Mrs. B.E. Johnstone present
