    Hi Dennis

When I do the search as you suggest I still get told I need a credit to view it.

I never said you need to view it but you can tell there is a record there, for that year, for a person of a certain age. Just fill in the data you have from cwgc. I never said you get free data, heavens. But you can confirm that a name is registered in a particular district.

    Simon,

A-B's Oxford, Consul & Envoy File (p.171), records the mid-air collision between LX237 and LX265, as occurring on 25 August, 1943.

    Thanks Col.

You're right - Henk had them listed under that date:

    http://www.rafcommands.com/forum/sho...rmen-25-8-1943

I'd picked the serials up from here:

    http://www.oldhaltonians.co.uk/pages...memb/ROH/Y.htm

Maybe someone else has the right details for Younger, unless he died of his injuries 6 months later...?

    Regards

    Simon
