POTTS, 928001 - DOAS (Casualty Communiqué Nº 402, Flight Magazine July 13th 1944), death registered Durham Central

SPENCER, 1685428 was the sole occupant of Harvard II 2756 of 2 S.F.T.S. which crashed on the South shore of Lake Deschenes on the Ottawa River. The aircraft fell into a sideslip during a steep turn on a low level bombing exercise. It is thought the pilot blacked out. Info from Jerry Vernon in Canada.
