Could he have been transferred from Norwich the RAF Hospital Ely, because his death is registered in Ely not Norwich?

No idea on this one sorry Malcolm . It clearly states Norwich hospital but a transfer to Ely would make sense over that length of time . Let me look

It actually states . “Admitted to Norwich. Died of injuries “ it does not state died in Norwich hospital
