McMILLAN, David Blain - P/O - 143294 - the National Probate Calendar records that he died at Liberton, Edinburgh.

WHEATLAND, Arthur James - F/L - 100696 - the National Probate Calendar records that he died at the Radcliffe Infirmary, Oxford. His death was reported in the Worthing Gazette of August 30th, which records that he died after a short illness. A captain in the First World War, he joined the R.A.F. after the start of World War Two, joining the ground staff.

Arthur James Wheatland 1000696 | was admitted seriously ill to RAF hospital Wroughton on 19 September. He became dangerously ill on 22 August. He was transferred to the Radcliffe Infirmary Oxford where he died of a cerebral tumour
