    IRVINE, Margaret Rutherford - died aged 32 at Tor-Na-Dee Hospital, near Peterculter, Aberdeenshire.

    Cause of death was shock due to fractured spine with transverse lesion to spinal cord (which had occurred the previous day), as well as TB, from which she had been suffering for 2 years 1 month. Source is the Statutory Deaths listings on Scotland's People.

    WAAF
    GRIFFITHS, Evelyn Mary - ACW1c - 446567 - the Cheshire Observer of September 16th 1944 reported that she died at her home at The Cottage, Parkgate Road, Gt. Saughall. She had volunteered for the W.A.A.F. as a clerk accountant, but was later taken seriously ill and had to undergo an operation. She had been an invalid up to the time of her death.

    TREVOR, Maurice Edward - LAC - 1583598 - the National Probate Calendar records that he died at Hairmyres Hospital, East Kilbride.

    LEWIS, Lionel Morley - F/L - 64331 - the Surrey Advertiser of September 16th 1944 reported that he died at home. He had suffered a breakdown in health some 18 months previously, and although he had recovered, he was taken ill again when at home on leave in February. He had spent four and a half months in hospital, and had returned home some two months prior to his death. He had joined the R.A.F.V.R. in February 1939, and had served with the Balloon Barrage in England and Scotland.
    The National Probate Calendar records that he died at Westfield, Woking.

    Panagus Charalambous 712152 ( HARALLAMBOUS in his records ) , attached to the RAF ME Telecoms Centre , was admitted to Number 16 General hospital with an expectorant cough and x ray revealed an obstruction in the basal right lower lung lobe. A bronchoscopy revealed a chronically infected mucous gland and a lobectomy was performed and an abscess discovered, but he died 5 Hours After the operation of post operative shock

    Cyril Francis Green 64377 , an Admin G officer of the ASD branch was admitted seriously ill to Number 96 General hospital on 27 July , becoming dangerously ill on 30 July and dying of malignant hypertension and heart failure
