Hugh McConkey 525942 | attached to 105 OTU | died when he fell from a trailer attached to a Fordson tractor on Highfield Road, Nuneaton at 07:20 Hours. He was standing on the bar attaching the trailer when he lost his balance whilst trying to speak to LAC Alexander Stanley Williams, the tractor driver, and fell off and the trailer wheel ran over him. He was admitted to Nuneaton EMS hospital at 8 AM but died of shock and multiple injuries

Edwin Mills 1881753 | was admitted seriously ill to RAF Hospital Henlow o 9 February. Transferred to the 3 Counties Hospital, Arlesey, Bedfordshire, he died of carcinoma of the bronchus
