    Hello,

    AUSTRALIA.

    CLARKE and LIDGERWOOD.

10498 AC1 Geoffrey Leonard CLARKE RAAF, and 11436 AC1 Geoffrey Frank LIDGERWOOD, both of No.1 Wireless Air Gunners School, Ballarat, Victoria, were killed at about 11.15 p.m., on 23 November, 1940, in a collision with a motor car in Sturt Street, Ballarat. Clarke and Lidgerwood were riding a motor cycle when it struck the vehicle head-on, killing both of them instantly.

Lidgerwood is buried in Carr Villa General Cemetery, Launceston, Tasmania (not Tasman).
