UPGRADE to Edsel Edward Amlin R 145224 , attached to Number 2 MT section RAF, at RAF Middleton St.George, he died in Newcastle general hospital of a fractured skull and laceration of the brain with a subdural heamorhage. He had attended a dance class in Darlington and left saying he did not feel well, a 14 year old school girl then saw him fall backwards and strike his head on concrete near the Portland garage in Woodfield road
