    Me again, sorry!

I've just added another reply to the same 5-9-1944 thread, and that one has not appeared either. The last reply is still post #10 from Big Makk on 20th April 2023 .

However, if I go to Thread Tools -> Show Printable Version, there they are. Most odd...

I'd be grateful if I could beg the indulgence of one of the moderators, please?

    Regards

    Simon

EDIT - my posts also show up if I use Display -> Switch to Hybrid Mode or Display -> Threaded Mode, but not in Linear Mode.

For some reason i can see both the replies in my view .. but i agree, earlier I could not see these posts, but they are now visible.

I tried incognito mode and went to https://www.rafcommands.com/forum/sh...irmen-5-9-1944 the posts are not visible

I looked into the back end DB, and there is nothing wrong in the entries.

Then i did something - i tweaked the reply count for the thread in the back end DB, and that seemed to have fixed the issue.

    Thanks Jagan

I was starting to get a bit worried in case I was missing posts elsewhere.

I seem to have been missing quite a few posts from that thread. Very peculiar, but thanks for sorting it out, it's very much appreciated.

    Regards

    Simon

EDIT - I'll delete my query on the thread, just to keep it neat and tidy.

no worries simon. I think it had something to do with the "Replies" value for a thread. I just ran a maintenance job on the forum software that would update all the forum replies values numbers.. so this should not happen..

The Forum and its pages are working correctly, however, the
    www.rafcommands.com
Home page/Front page has crashed completely, reporting

    "WordPress>Error"
"Warning: mysqli_real_connect(): (08004/1040): Too many connections in /vhost/vhost11/r/a/f/rafcommands.com/www/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 1612 Deprecated: mysql_connect(): The mysql extension is deprecated and will be removed in the future: use mysqli or PDO instead in /vhost/vhost11/r/a/f/rafcommands.com/www/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 1643 Warning: mysql_connect(): Too many connections in /vhost/vhost11/r/a/f/rafcommands.com/www/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 1643

    Too many connections
    Error establishing a database connection

This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at mysql06.iomart.com. This could mean your host’s database server is down.

Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
Are you sure that the database server is running?

If you’re unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your host. If you still need help you can always visit the WordPress Support Forums."

Thanks Don. That went completely unnoticed..seemed to have recovered by on its own. I did note that somewhere around Midnight GMT, a backup process runs that temporarily disrupts the forum.. wonder if that is the time you saw the wp issue?
