Edna Melrose 2091531 , attached to Number 83 GSU, became seriously ill on 21st April and was admitted to RAF Hospital Northallerton. Transferred to Sanderson EMS hospital, Gosforth, and from there to Newcastle General hospital, where she Died of chronic nephritis
Augustus William John 1296173 , attached to Number 53 RU, was admitted dangerously ill to RAF hospital St. Athan, where he died the same day of toxic jaundice
Frederick George Clarke 1292597 , attached to Number 5760 MSU , was curried away by the current on an organised bathing party at 08:30 Hours and his body was not recovered
Wilfred Eric Morgan 578633 , attached to Number 6247 SE , died in an off duty road accident at 23:45 Hours
Reginald Joseph Vincent 1666734 , was admitted dangerously ill to Number 9 RAF hospital on 11 June and transferred to the Combined Military hospital at Entally, Calcutta, where he died of acute anterior poliomyelitis
William Wills 520893 , attached to Number 8 ARD SAAF ( he is listed as being of 110 MU ) was found dangerously ill at approximately 08:00 Hours in the vicinity of the Italian Naval monument at Casale. He was admitted to Number 45 British General hospital at Taranto, where he died at 05:20 Hours.
No cause of death was given in his records. The ORB for 110 MU ended before his death, the ORB for 8 ARD only exists in December, there was no record of him in the diary of 45 GH
So , an overseas death certificate was purchased for him by myself and his cause of death was: a sub arachnoid haemorrhage

Douglas Charles Hamson 1235027 | attached to Number 1 PHU RAF Innsworth | was admitted seriously ill to RAF hospital Wroughton on 9 May suffering with carcinoma of the stomach, where he died following a partial gastrectomy
