Re the 5 OTU losses: Liberators KH107 and KG880 collided on the runway at Abbotsford on 3 July 1945. Both aircraft were Category A (total write off in RCAF terms). My notes state a total of 9 fatalities, all RAF, but don't break down who was onboard what.

There is a 25 year old Frederick Radford died in South Dublin district in Q3 1945.

if you search in Scotlandspeople.gov.uk even without credits you can narrow and find David Mennie in Aberdeen district.

MENNIE, David Ritchie - the Scotland's People Statutory Deaths Notice reports that he died at 7.25 a.m. at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, the result of a fractured skull and intracerebral haemorrhage. No cause for the injury is given, however.

    Regards

    Simon
