    AUSTRALIA.

    116060 LAC Maurice DEERE RAAF.

    116060 LAC (Equip. Ass.) Maurice DEERE RAAF (of No.13 Aircraft Repair Depot, Breddan), died from the effects of coronary oedema and septic meningitis, on 23 December, 1945, in the RAAF Hospital, Charters Towers, Queensland. Deere was 40-years-old, and the father of two children.

    UK

    COHEN, Harry - LAC - 1674441 - the National Probate Calendar states that he died at R.A.F. Station Tuddenham. The Bury Free Press of February 1st 1946 reports of the inquest into his death, in which it reports that he was knocked down by a Jeep whose driver had suffered a black-out. A verdict of misadventure was recorded.

    MOWTHORPE, John William - Cpl - 1145957 - an announcement of his death in the Hull Daily Mail of December 27th states that he died at Beverley Base Hospital.

    WELSH, Peter - LAC - 653531 - the Scotlnd People's website Statutory Deaths register states that he died at Bo'ness Fever Hospital, suffering from TB.

    Post-discharge death, no other details in his service record. Dicharged from the RCAF on 3.1.1945
