    Hello

DIXON, Edwin - Cpl - 1234515 - the Kent and Sussex Courier of February 22nd 1946 reported the following:

    BURWASH CORPORAL'S DEATH
Two days after the news had been received of his mention in despatches, Corporal Edwin Dixon, R.A.F., died at his home in Burwash. Only son of Mr. and Mrs. C. Dixon, of Testers Farm gained his "mention" while on duty in India and Burma, where he served for 3 1/2 years.
