The Coventry Standard of December 28th 1940 reported:

Charles Henry Baker (41) was killed instantly on Saturday night when he was struck by a car driven by Bernard G. Lovell, 51, Common Lane, Kenilworth, a special constable.
The accident happened in Warwick Road and Lovell said at the inquest on Thursday he had been on duty all night and was driving away from the city. The night was very dark.
A verdict of "Accidental death" was recorded, and death was due to a fractured base of the skull.

The Coventry Telegraph of December 23rd 1940 had reported the accident, and mentions that Baker was in the R.A.F. and his home was in North Street, Coventry.

    GIBRALTAR
JONES, Leslie James - AIR Mechanic 1c - FX.75472 - HMS Ark Royal - RN - ADM 104 records that he died in the Military Hospital, Gibraltar, due to "meningitis; metastatic abscess in the left lobe of the cerebellum, sequalae to carbuncle of kidney."

    Thank you Andy and Simon,
I could not see a connection to the AIR81 document and BAKER, so that's why I noted it in my post.
Also thanks for the cause of death for JONES.
As an aside I am surprised to see the death certificate of her late Majesty as "old age". To me this opens the door to many questionable deaths.
My friend locally lost his mother who passed away in a local care home. The death certificate gave "old age" as reason for her death. However the local Registrar refused to accept the certificate so my friend had to get the doctor to make out a detailed cause of death noteing detailed medical causes. This was done and cost my friend a considerable amount of money that the doctor charged. The Registrar accepted the detailed document without question.
My thoughts are that the late Queens doctor may inadvertently given a green light to those who may for questionable reasons may just want "old age" as cause of death to ease their paths to maybe financial or property gain. A very dangerous mistake by the Queen doctor .

Old age is not a recognised cause of death. Everyone dies of something. Even “ heart failure “ would be more accurate as that’s what ultimately kills everyone. I suspect the Queen’s death cert cause is to stop everyone ordering it from the GRO
