    Default Unaccounted airman - 30-12-1940

    Any idea what caused the death of G/Capt John A.G. DE COURCY - age 46, buried Barton (St.Peter) Churchyard, Cambridgeshire.

    Died on Active Service (Times, 3 Jan 1941).

    John Arthur Gerald De Courcy 01144 , died at Blatford Lodge, Upper Clatford, Andover of a coronary thrombosis

    This Information was obtained from a GRO death certificate purchased by myself as there was no cause of death stated in his records

    LYON, Charles Ernest - Lac - 814149 - RAF (AAF) - 616 Sqdn.
    Barnsley (Ardsley) Cemetery, Yorkshire.
    Died in Scunthorpe Memorial hospital. Cause of death ?

    Charles Ernest Lyon 814149 , attached to RAF Kirton in Lindsay, was admitted seriously ill to the Scunthorpe Memorial hospital where he died of superating pericarditis, septacemia and metastasis abscess with his Father in law , Mr. A. Lockwood of 17 Bamsley Road, Barnsley, at his bedside

    This Information was obtained by the purchase of a GRO death certificate by myself as there was no cause of death stated in his records
