    Eileen May Cain 473846 , attached to Number 5 Recruit Centre at West Kirkby, died at home at Gonville Road, Bootle, of pulmonary tuberculosis

    Jack Desmond Lamb DFM 200736 | attached to 97 Squadron | as an Air Bomber, was admitted to RAF hospital Wroughton on 29 April and became seriously ill on 4 May suffering with a peritoneal sarcoma. He became dangerously ill on 3 September and died of pelvic mega colon with his father, Mr. J. Lamb of Victoria House, Dagenham, Essex at his bedside.

    The current entry in this database is wholly incorrect
