    54592 LAC Alfred John STEVENS (ex-No.1 Aircraft Depot, Laverton, Victoria), was discharged from the RAAF on 24 October, 1945. He died in Victoria on 2 January, 1946.

    CRAWFORD, James - W/O - 509251 - AHQ Italy. The Dundee Courier of Janaury 14th 1947 carried the following announcement:

    CRAWFORD - Suddenly, at Udine, Italy, on Jan. 2, 1947, Warrant Officer James Crawford, R.A.F., aged 36 years, beloved husband of Irene Crawford, 18a Lincoln Street, Old Basford, Nottingham.

    FLINT, Kenneth John - Air Mechanic 2c - L/FX.796300 - the UK British Army and Navy BMD Records 1730-1960 state that he died at Dudley Road Hospital, Birmingham, due to secondary sarcomatosis following sarcoma left femur.

    MIDDLEDITCH, Andre Fiddle - Gunner II - 1881366 - the National Probate Calendar records that he died at the Royal Herbert Hospital, Woolwich.

    SNELLING, Jack James - F/Sgt - 909997 - registered Edmonton.

    BERGAU, Waldemar - GAF - the Western Morning News of January 18th 1947 reported that he died after drinking from a bottle which was found to have contained ethyl-glycol (anti-freeze). The bottle has been labelled as gin, Bergau said that he had been given the bottle by a woman while he was working at Staddon Fort, but his fellow prisoner cast doubt on this. An open verdict was recorded by the Coroner.

    James Crawford 509251 , attached to AHQ Italy , was admitted dangerously ill to Number 8 British CCS on 1 January suffering from injuries to the scalp, cerebral lacerations and internal haemorrhage, dying ar 16:45 Hours. A court of inquiry found his injuries to be self inflicted
