47016 Cpl Robert Walter KOSCHADE RAAF (ex-No.2 Air Observers' School, Mt Gambier, South Australia), was officially discharged from the RAAF (on medical grounds), on 29 May, 1943. He succumbed to the effects of Tuberculosis on 31 January, 1947.

He went missing when the aircraft in which he was a passenger crashed into the sea off Portland Island, 4 miles north east of Patricia Bay on 31.1.1947.

Post-discharge death. Discharged on 4.4.1946 "being medically unfit for any kind of airforce duty". He died on 31.1.1947 at Owen Sound, Ontario.
