Sergeant Shepherd SOTHERAN (751010):
His unit is listed as 2 S.o.A.C. on the Graves Registration Report, and Graham Warner on page 248 of his Bristol Blenheim book has:
Death registered at Andover, so possibly Blenheim N3555 of 2 School of Army Co-Operation. Crashed when hit trees at Andover on night take off, crashed 2 miles west of airfield, destroyed by fire. P/O George R. LAMBERT - 42846 - RAF [from Canada]) and one unnamed WOp/AG killed.
Furthermore, the Middlesbrough Daily Gazette of July 9th 1940 reported the following:
News has been received of the death in a flying accident of Sergt. Shepherd Sotheran (32), of 69, Sandringham Road, West Hartlepool. He was the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. S. Sotehran, of 4, King Street, Hartlepool.

The Hartlepool Mail of December 10th 1940 reported the following:
TRANSPORTER FATALITY
There was a fatal accident at the Tees Transporter last night. Alexander Greig (37), whose home address is 115 Biddelstone Road, Newcastle, was in charge of a military vehicle which was being taken over by the travelling car. For some reason his vehicle ran forward just as the car was stopping. It dropped down the side of the bridge into the safety trap underneath. Grieg, when recovered, was dead. Death had been instantaneous.

A J Du Plooy MAY be this guy but dates a bit different and age may also count against him?
He apparently died at home with son present so most likely natural
