    GARDENER, John Joseph - Cpl - 549564 - the National Probate Calendar records that the died at the Westminster Hospital, London.

    HOBSON, Harry - Sgt - 1005604 - the National Probate Calendar records that the died at 54 Bridge Street, Tow Law, County Durham.

    With regards to Lancaster SW290, the Hampshire Telegraph of March 28th 1947 printed a list of the casualties:

    It reports those missing, believed killed as:
    Lt. T. B. J. Lorimer, R.N.
    Sub-Lt. H. S. Moore, R.N.
    Pilot/2 H. Stapleton
    Nav/2 J. D. Shaw
    Eng/2 D. J. Darby
    Eng/2 C. Lexton

    Killed:
    Sig. D. G. Ryan

    Plus two crew members seriously injured:
    1398448 Pilot/2 J. E. Pollington
    578548 Sig. E. Rose

    John Joseph Gardener 549564 | attached to 39 MU | was admitted dangerously ill to the Westminster hospital, London, SW1, on 3 March, where he died of reticulum sarcoma with his wife, Mrs. L Gardener, at his bedside

    Harry Hobson 1005604 | attached to Number 1 PHU | had been admitted seriously ill to RAF hospital Kirkham on 11 November 1946. Becoming dangerously ill on 5 December where he died of 46. He was discharged to home and died at Bridge Street, Tow Law, Durham, of pulmonary tuberculosis of both lungs
