    Default Escape and Evasion Reports

Did you get to check any of the names against these indexes of Escape and Evasion reports:

    Provided by Steve Brew.

Might clear some of them maybe.

    Dennis,

Thanks for those, especially the West v Est.

Yes the missing Sgt R.C. Bryson was a Rhodesian. So that is almost certainly the same man.

    Regards

    Steve

    Default Escapers and Evaders

There is a fairly comprehensive list of WW2 escapers and evaders at www.escapelines.com - you can also search the MI9 and IS9 lists - and for Americans - the MIS-X lists - for their report numbers

Default Pilots Posted Missing in FCL

    Steve

Can find no record of a SGT Barclay with 457Sqdn on the 27th Apr 1942, however there is a FSGT Parbery missing on this date...can you confirm.

If Parbery - He is listed on the Runnymede memorial

    regards

    Default Barclay/Parbery

I don't have any first-hand information but an internet search for Spitfire BM159 gives the www.sukoi.ru website which has Sgt M E Parbery as KIA that date
