Here are few more:

Lionel Henry PHILLIPS (905311) - the Gloucestershire Echo of February 7th 1941 reported that he died in an R.A.F. Hospital and that death was due to pneumonia following a dislocation of a thigh. He is described as a sergeant air-gunner, and he joined the R.A.F. in June 1940. The Graves Registration Report Form on the CWGC entry gives his unit as 15 O.T.U.

Rupert Bennett HESTER (62262) - the Banbury Advertiser of February 12th 1941 reported that he died in an R.A.F. Hospital, and that death was due to heart failure following an illness and an operation. Death was registered at Holderness.

Gerald Herbert PITTAM (82764- the Western Mail of Thursday, February 6th 1941 reported the following:

Fatal Car Crash - Pilot Officer J. [sic] Pittam, of Richmond, London, died at the local hospital on Wednesday from injuries received when the motor-car he was driving collided with a bollard in Station Road, Port Talbot, late on Tuesday night.

Doreen Louisa Dennis COOMBE (420605) - the National Probate Calendar records that she died at Newton Abbot Hospital.

Stanislaw BYLCZYNSKI - the Statutory Deaths Register on the Scotland's People website records that he was found dead in bed at 9.00 a.m. at 4 Crichton Road, Rothesay. Death was due to natural causes. He is described as "Officer, Polish Army."

Leslie FLANAGAN (507128) - the Nottingham Evening Post of February 25th 1941 reported the following:

NOTTM. CORPORAL'S SUICIDE
Fatal Shot After Firing at Sergeant
Mr. C. R. Scorer (Lincoln South District Croner) conducted an inquest yesterday on Corporal Leslie Flanagan, of Radford, Nottingham. It was stated that Flanagan burst into an orderly room on Friday armed with a revolver, of which, according to a duty corporal, he had forcibly obtained possession. Then he fired at Sergt. Christopher Thompson, afterward committing suicide. It was stated that Flanagan had been drinking.
A verdict of "suicide while the balance of the mind was disturbed owing to taking excessive alcohol," was recorded.

James Grant MacCOUBREY D.F.M. (45200) - the Statutory Deaths Register on the Scotland's People website records that he died at 9.30 a.m. at Leanchoil Hospital in Forres due to extensive burns and shock. His unit is listed as 19 O.T.U. on the Graves Registration Report Form in his CWGC entry.

Sidney CALVERT (1308756) - the Bedfordshire Times and Independent of February 28th 1941 reported that he died in a Bedford hospital due to septicaemia following a cut finger, with influenza a contributory factor.

Axler's R.C.A.F. Service File records that they were killed in Fleet Finch 4514 of No. 7n E.F.T.S. which crashed at 09.45 some 6 miles north east of the airfield at Windsor, Ontario. The aircraft crashed due to an inverted spin, landing on its back and killing both immediately.

Jean Paul BRUNELLE (R/54572) - his R.C.A.F. Service File records that he was killed in Anson 6108 which crashed at 08.35 at Sarcee, 2 miles south west of No. 3 S.F.T.S., Calgary. He was removed from the wreck, but died in hospital. There were two others on board, who received injuries.

John Anthony Archibald QUINLAN - his R.C.A.F. Service File records that he was killed when he walked into the propeller of a moving aircraft at No. 4 E.F.T.S. Saskatoon.

Allan Henry NESBITT (R/58715) - his R.C.A.F. Service File records that he was killed while on A.T.P. Course No. 18 in Yale 3357, which collided with Yale 3370. The collision occurred about 9 miles north east of Camp Borden. Yale 3370, flown by 4611 LAC Wallace, returned safely to the airfield.

Griffin's R.C.A.F. Service File records that they were killed in Tiger Moth 4003, which collided with Tiger Moth 4209, 5 miles from Bishop's Airport, Fort William at 11.30. The pilot of 4209, R76162 LAC Brander was seriously injured. Griffin was the pupil, and Harris his instructor.

William Harry SHORTT (R/71756) - his R.C.A.F. Service File records that he was killed in Yale 3382, which crashed at Alliston Airport at 15.15, after the engine cut on take off. Shortt was killed, and his instructor injured.

Broad's R.C.A.F. Service File records that they were both killed in Tiger Moth 4345, which crashed 3 miles west of Trenton. Broad is listed as being the passenger, with Parker the pilot.

Royal Gordon McDOUGALL (C/2987) - his R.C.A.F. Service File records that he was killed in Harvard 2514, which crashed 4 miles east of Corbyville, cause unknown.

Patterson's R.C.A.F. Service File records that they were killed in Harvard 2502, which crashed on Lake Westmeath, near Pembroke, Ontario. The wing of the Harvard caught the surface of the lake while apparently attempting to force-land. Hyde's body was in the Harvard when it was recovered, but Patterson seemed to have exited the aircraft, but drowned in the lake due to the weight of his flying kit and parachute.

Anson's R.C.A.F. Service File records that they were killed when Harvard 2857 collided with Harvard 2976, both of 9 S.F.T.S., three miles north of Richmond, Prince Edward Island at 15.50. Kennedy-Allen seems to have been in 2857 with F/O C. G. A. Wagner, C/3004, who was uninjured, and Anson in 2976 with AC1 E. H. Martin R/66246, also uninjured.

Vernon Arthur BLAKE (R/78573) - his R.C.A.F. Service File records that he was killed in Harvard 2510, which crashed into the side of a hill one and a half miles soiuth of Trenton, Ontario, at 11.00 whilst on a cross-country flight. He was the sole occupant of the Harvard.

Jessie Margaret MacLEOD (C/4169) - her R.C.A.F. Service File records that she was aNursing Sisiter, and that she died at the R.C.A.F. Station Hospital, Dartmouth, due to cerebro-spinal meningitis. She had been admitted as a bed patient to the hospital on April 28th 1941 at 16.30, and died the next day.

Richard Reginald BLYTHE (R/74270) - his R.C.A.F. Service File records that he died in hospital in Ottawa as the result of injuries sustained the previous day when Fleet Finch 4664 crashed four miles east of Rockcliffe Station, Ontario, on the Montreal highway at 11.30, cause obscure. Also in the aircraft was R/55576 L.A.C. Thomson, A, who was seriously injured.
Blythe's file also contains a wealth of information about his past career, including that he was an organizing member of the 1921 Secret and Ancient Order of the Quiet Birdmen. He had previously worked in industrial public relations, his clients including Wiley Post, Commander Byrd and his North Pole Flight, Lindbergh on his trans-Atlantic flight and the Graf Zeppelin's round the world flight.

Duffey's R.C.A.F. Service File records that they were killed when Harvard 2884 of 2 S.F.T.S. crashed while on a night flying dual flight. The Harvard took off at 03.30, and had failed to return by 05.00. A search was initiated, and the wreckage of the Harvard was reported to have been found on the farm of Mr. Jervis Craig, two and a half miles south of Uplands. Cause of the accident obscure.

Cyril Charles WALKER (C/26) - his R.C.A.F. Service File records that he died at 05.00 at Ottawa Civic Hospital, due to coronary disease.

Joseph DAWSON (R/58418) - his R.C.A.F. Service File records that he was killed in Tiger Moth 4328, which crashed at 14.15 at the farm of W. O. Mitchell, South Saanich Township. Also on board was R/77390 L.A.C. S.E. McMann, who was uninjured.

William George HENRY (R/76676) - his R.C.A.F. Service File records that he was killed in Tiger Moth 4063 of 5 E.F.T.S., which crashed on a solo flight at 06.45, 12 miles south of Lethbridge. An eye witness stated that the Tiger Moth spun in from around 3,000 feet.

Alfred George HANSON (R/87058) - his R.C.A.F. Service File records that he was killed in Tiger Moth 4121 of 14 E.F.T.S., which crashed at 09.00 at Portage la Prairie.

Smith's R.C.A.F. Service File records that they were killed in Tiger Moth 4104 of 5 E.F.T.S., which crashed at 08.00, 15 miles south west of Kenyon Field, Lethbridge, Alberta. Smith is recorded as Instructor, and Williamson as his Pupil.

Sharples' R.C.A.F. Service File record that they were killed in Harvard 3026 of 11 S.F.T.S., which crashed at 00.45, 3 miles north east of Yrokton aerodrome while on a night flying practive flight. The Harvard dived into the ground from approximately 1000 feet shortly after take off. Cause obscure.

John William DODDS (R/86647) - his R.C.A.F. Service File records that he was killed in Tiger Moth 4132 of 16 E.F.T.S., which crashed at 06.50, two and a half miles north west of Edmonton. Cause 'apparently lost control and plane spiralled into ground.' He was the sole occupant of the Tiger Moth.

Jacob Roy ROBLIN (R/67088) - his R.C.A.F. Service File records that he was killed in Anson 2209 [6529] of 3 S.F.T.S., which collided with another Anson (6126) while flying in a 3-ship V formation. 2209 came up from below and behind and collided with the other aircraft, the propeller of 6126 apparently damaging the cabin of 2209, which entered a steep dive from which it did not recover. Anson 6126 landed safely. Roblin was the sole occupant of 2209.

Saxby Winburn Laurie BLAIR (R/64875) - his R.C.A.F. Service File records that he was killed in Harvard 3829 of 11 S.F.T.S., which crashed one and a half miles from the auxiliary field at Sturdee at 00.30 when he made a right hand circuit rather than a left hand, and flew into the ground with the right wing down. He was the sole occupant of the Harvard.

William Milton McDONALD (R/59619) - his R.C.A.F. Service File records that he died at Newfoundland Airport from a self-inflicted bullet wound fired from his own service rifle.

Robert Harvey MILLER (R/67244) - his R.C.A.F. Service File records that he was killed in Tiger Moth 4386 of 1 E.F.T.S. which crashed 3 miles north of Malton Airport at 09.50. He was practicing forced landings and steep turns, and the aircraft struck the ground head on and burned. Cause obscure. He was the sole occupant of the aircraft.

Lionel ROHER (R/78412) - his R.C.A.F. Service File records that he was killed in Harvard 3783 of 10 S.F.T.S., which crashed at Meadow Portage at 10.55. He was the sole occupant of the aircraft.

William DARLING (R/74863) - his R.C.A.F. Service File records that he died in Harvard 2614 of 32 S.F.T.S., which crashed 3 miles south of Duttress, 20 miles south of Moose Jaw, at 19.00. The aircraft spun into the ground, killing Darling and slightly injuring F/O J. Comstadaris.

Robert Lyon MILN (R/85688) - his R.C.A.F Service File records that he died in hospital at Portage la Prarie General Hospital at 13.45, having been injured in Tiger Moth 4123 of 14 E.F.T.S., which crashed at Portage la Prairie at 10.10. The Tiger Moth spun in from 150 feet in a slow gliding turn when coming in to land. He was the sole occupant of the aircraft.

Thomas Joseph COOK (C/3010) - his R.C.A.F. Service File records that he was killed in Tiger Moth 4868 of No. 3 Wireless School, which crashed at E.H. Nelson Farm, Lilyfield, Manitoba. Also on board was L.A.C. Elme W. Orr, who was injured.

John Arnold MALIN (R/93845) - his R.C.A.F. Service File records that he was killed in Tiger Moth 4986 of 5 E.F.T.S. which crashed in a field 2 miles north west of Okotoks, Alberta at 18.15.

Donald Leslie KENNEDY (R/76159) - his R.C.A.F. Service File records that he was killed in Oxford AS494 of 34 S.F.T.S., which crashed 9 miles north of Vauxhall, Alberta. The pilot, flying instructor P/O A. A. Purkiss-Ginn, and another occupant, P/O P. J. Lea, who was acting as passenger safety lookout, were also killed.
