    Deceased Ottawa Civic Hospital, Ottawa. Splenic Neutropenia Ischiorectal abscess.
    Prior to military service (was previously RCNVR) he had been in charge of the RCMP's Marine section.

    (Air 78/84 - see: http://www.rafcommands.com/forum/sho...-on-CWGC/page2).

    The National Probate Calendar has the following:

    JAMES Meirionyyd of The Bungalow, High Street, Pontardawe, Glamorganshire, died 14 July 1947. Administration Llandaff 4 October to Catherine Eleanor James, widow.

    The Civil Registration Death Index records his age as 30, and his death is registered in West Glamorgan.

    SCHALL, Johannes - GAF - registered Broxburn, West Lothian. The Statutory Deaths Register on the Scotland's People website records that he died at 6.00 a.m. at Bangour Hospital, Broxburn, due to injuries received when he was thrown from a truck travelling between Quarryford Farm House and the village of Gifford. The truck overturned into the Sink Field on Castlemains Farm, Gifford.

    Meirionydd James 979396 | a medically discharged Airman at the time of his death, died at the Bungalow, High Street, Pontardawe, of pulmonary tuberculosis

    This Information was obtained via the purchase of a GRO death certificate sponsored by Tudor Jones of Cardiff
