Geoffrey William Farnan 2343377 , attached to RAF Abingdon, was returning to the station after leave when his motorcycle was involved in a collision with a newspaper van in Stafford road , Wallington. Pinned under the van, he had to be released by the NFS lifting the van off him and was dead on arrival at St, Helier hospital, Carsholton
