VERNEN LEONERD Arthur Hardey 1250473 , not Vernon Lenard as per CWGC , attached to Number 1 PHU at RAF Innsworth, was taken seriously ill with pulmonary tuberculosis on 5th October 1945 and was admitted to the Baragwanath military hospital, Joburg. Repatriated to the UK on 19th December 1945, he died of his illness in Sully hospital, Penarth
