    USHER, Charles Edward - P/O - 41140 - the Yorkshire Evening Post of September 29th 1939 reported the inquest into his death. It reported that he was fatally injured when the car in which he was a passenger collided with a refuge post in Kensington Road, London during the blackout. A verdict of accidental death was recorded.

    UPGRADE to Charles Edward Usher 41140, he died in St George's hospital, Westminster, of injuries sustained when a car he was travelling in collided with a post in Kensington Road in the blackout
