Confirm it is Vincent Wallace McCabe. Commissioned from Temp W/O1 from 21/04/1944 Pilot branch CG 15/12/1945
Paul, and Dave
With regards to Jollymour, the Ottawa Journal of March 27th 1942 has an article about a new R.C.A.F. 'intruder squadron', (presumably 418 Squadron?), and has Harold George Jollymour.
Also mentioned in the article from Paul's list are Norm Mapes, John Pringle, Harold Irving and Brian Filliter [as 'Fillister'].

Many thanks all for this big step forward. Indeed all the abovementioned airmen served with 418. I would have some complement for the initial list:
RATCLIFFE (R62092) initials 'R' maybe 'RG'
TAYLOR (R58638) initials 'JM'
IRVING (R78431) his initials are probably 'JHJ' and officer service number J19343. Can I get any confirmation?
I'm also after NCO service number and first names for ER Dickey (J18511).
Thanks for checking

Irving is Harold Jackson Hossack Irving, born Glasgow 1919. Details from a family tree on ancestry.com, which records him as a rear gunner with 418 Sqn. Also known as 'Ace.'

Could R G Ratcliffe possibly be Ronald George Ratcliffe, b. 1919 at Saskatoon? A family tree on ancestry has him being married to land girl Violet Thurgood at Bradwell-on-Sea in July 1943.
