    Default National Archives access in the COVID19 pandemic

    The Corona Virus/COVID19 pandemic continues around the world.
    In the Australian national assessment announced today, public restrictions here are likely to continue for at least 6 months.

    With that in mind, I thought a quick check around Archives and the like for current access notices might be of assistance

    National Archives
    Closed to visitors until further notice from 19:00 today (Tuesday 17 March).
    Details, refunds see

    All physical sites closed with effect from the end of today (Tuesday 17 March) until further notice. Includes Duxford.

    RAF Museum
    London, Cosford: closed until at least 20 May
    Details, refunds, rebooks

    British Library
    Physical sites in London and Boston Spa closed for the time being. Public events suspended

    National Archives
    Public events cancelled, offices open for visit, research except South Australia

    Australian War Memorial
    No Public ANZAC Day Dawn Service or Marches. National broadcast of private AWM service
    Research Centre remains open at present but see AWM home page

    Australian National Library
    Remains open to readers and visitors, with on site public programs suspended until further notice

    Library and Archives Canada
    Closed until further notice

    Canadian War Museum
    National museums closed across Canada to visitors and all other groups, effective Saturday, March 14 and until further notice.
