Hi

MITCHISON, William Coolson - AC1 - He was serving at RAF Cranwell whilst awaiting discharge on medical grounds when he committed suicide by throwing himself underneath the rear wheels of a lorry at Byard's Leap.

IBCC has him aboard N2889 with Lewis, Barrington-Taylor, Jones, and Ross, ref. your other thread.

"Shot down into the sea off the island of Borkum. AC1 Geddes was badly injured but alive when found but died the next day of his injuries."

There is an AIR 81 file on this loss also that puts him on this aircraft.
