    Hi Jon

Taylor - what is your source for Bletchley as he was registered in Keighley, West Yorkshire which is a long way from Bletchley?

    Hello

The Bradford Observer of Saturday May 19th 1945 reported that Jack Taylor, aged 22, of 35 Bingley Road, Cross Roads, Keighley died in Bingley Hospital early the previous day due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident when his bike collided with a wall in Ellar Car Bottom, Keighgley Road, Cullingworth at midnight on the Thursday. Inspection of his machine showed that the chain had become displaced, locking the back wheel.

My brother used to live at Pinkneys Green many moons ago, and there used to be a very nice pub called the Robin Hood but it closed down a few years ago, I believe.

Defo Pinkney's Green - He is down a John B Daly on FreeBMD and also under his birth in 1921 - On Air 78 he is John Daly - He is (I believe) on 1939 Register 'redacted' as he born in 1921 at Leadgate Consett - So will be released next year automatically

I live locally so will see if anything in local paper on him (Inquest report etc)

Robin Hood Pub closed then reopened as new name then reopened as Robin Hood Pub again but now closed again and reopened as new business (non pub)
