    WELLS, John Walliss - AC2c - 953769 - RAFVR.
    Bickenhill ( St. Peter ) Churchyard, Warwickshire.
    DOAS, Cause ?

    From CWGC -

    UK
    SMEETON, Bryan John - Lt(A) - HMS Sparrowhawk - RN - 803 Sqn FAA.
    WATKINSON, Frederick - Midshipman (A) - HMS Sparrowhawk - RN - 803 Sqn ( On the books of 771 Sqn ) - FAA.
    These two naval airmen are remembered on the Lee-on-solent Memorial, Hampshire.
    They were crew of Skua - L2923 - 803 Sqn FAA.

    John Walliss WELLS died of Meningitis accordings to the Birmingham Daily Post of 13th April 1940

    John Wallis Wells 953769 , attached to Number 7 Recruits Centre, died in the City Isolation hospital, Coventry, of cerebro spinal meningitis
