Some of them look Jewish, so likely name change had to protect them in case of capture.

    Hello

    probably these men

BLOOM, Basil Bartholomew (89789) , Pilot Officer - Served as BARTHOLOMEW, PILOT OFFR. (PILOT Died:1941
BLUM, Denis (148798) , Pilot Officer - Served as BROOKE Died:1943
JACOBOVITCH, Israel (1158295) , Sergeant - Served as JACKSON Died:1941
LAZARUS, Sydney Lewis (47940) , Flight Sergeant - Served as LEWIS Died:1940
    REISZ, Stephan Rafael (769472) , Sergeant - Served as S. RICE Died:1944
REUTER, Georges Henri Mathieu (60280) , Pilot Officer - Served as CARTER, DAVID Died:1941
ROSENBERG, Arthur Lawrence (240326) , Air Sergeant - Served as LAWRENCE Died:1943
SOLOMONS, Louis John (748642) , Sergeant - Served as SOMERS Died:1943

Some names are of German origin, other from eastern countries, probably occupied by the Germans, hence the use of aliases, like for some Free French.

LEVY-DESPAS, Guy Andre (J/5044) , Flying Officer - Served as CARLET Died:1942 was also french. With the help of Luc Vervoort, I checked his file and his religion is stated as Roman Catholic. He used Carlet as "nom de guerre" to protect his family still in occupied France.
