    John Douglas Haig Murray 949532, became seriously ill on 26th December 1944, admitted to Addenbrokes Hospital, Cambridge, he died as a result of an acute intestinal obstruction

    Robert Henry Wild 1145716, was admitted seriously ill to the Three Counties hospital, in Arlesley on 25th February, transferred to the Seacroft EMS hospital in Leeds, on 12th March he died of a gastric carcinoma

    Looking Like it - See second post died Accidently at Mullion - So without the death cert - I am sure it was same incident

South Cornwall, on Easter Sunday.

    UPGRADE to Joseph Berry 1060920, an MT mechanic still serving in the RAF, although ill for some time, he died at the Preston Hall sanatorium Aylesbury of laryngitis and pulmonary tuberculosis. I believe he is buried in Manchester

    The beach at Poldhu Cove was mined and protected by the usual scaffolding across the beach. Nothing remains at this site today, but local residents can remember that at least one soldier was killed accidentally by a mine during the war.

    UPGRADE to Margaret Clark Lee 2118953, A Clerk GD attached to RAF East Fortune, she died of multiple injuries sustained when she fell alighting from a train at East Fortune railway station

    Catherine MacLeod 2045870, attached to Number 10 Balloon centre, was admitted seriously ill to Crumpshall hospital, Manchester on 18th July, and died of tubercular meningitis

    UPGRADE to Winifred Ellen Knapp 2029508, she was killed, along with her newly wed husband, Gunner Ronald Knapp 1790563, attached to 570 Coast Artillery Regiment, RA, by a train as they walked along the line at Horsted Keynes on the way home from their wedding reception
