    Hi Henk,

In Coastal Command Losses Blenheim Z7370 1404 Met Flight is shown as missing 8/12/1941 on an operational met flight with no further details available. The crew is listed as Sergeants Watson, Hemming and Bess all killed.

The Bristol Blenheim (p377) has slightly different information: Blenheim Z7370 1404 Met Flight, Sergeants Watson and Hemming killed, Sergeants Hammon and Bess injured.

GRO War deaths has: Sgt Leonard Watson 7404 Flight, Sergeant Albert Bess 7404 Flight, Sergeant Arthur Hemming 1404 Flight, Sergeant Hamon 7404 Flight. Presumably a typo in the information passed to GRO.

    Default Coastal Command Z7370

Thanks Dave. Perhaps Ross may have a comment on the fourth crew member of Blenheim Z7370 (CC Losses Vol.1 page 167). For the time being will add HAMMON to this crew.
    Regards,
    Henk.

I was concerned that posting this next batch of answers from the F1180s would have put Henk under too much pressure to update after his request to remove his user name.

I now post them to contine his legacy on RAF Commands.

F1180 confirms McAllister as sole fatality on Oxford R6017

On the Graves Registration Report on the CWGC website for AC2 Leonard A. ARNOLD - 1412625, it states that his Unit was '747 (D) Sqdn'.

What does '747 (D) Sqdn' mean?

    Regards
