    PAPUA NEW GUINEA - 501399 Sister Marie Eileen CRAIG MiD, 2 MAETU, RAAFNS.

    501399 Sister CRAIG MiD, was killed when No.38 Sqn Dakota A65-61 (VH-CUT) struck a cliff face in the Carstenz Ranges, Dutch New Guinea. The wreck, along with the twenty-nine victims, was discovered twenty-three years later.

    Lily Anson 2052703 , a cook attached to 216 MU, became dangerously ill on 6 September and was admitted to Little Bromwich isolation hospital where she died of diptheria
