    Henk,

    Re: BROWN,DAVIES, HOBBS & KEEN.

    Possible solution to this problem:

    5-5-1943
    5 (C) OTU
    Hampden I AN155

Lost while on cross-country flight. ASR searches proved fruitless. Four missing. Cat. E.

    See:
Handley Page Hampden & Hereford Crash Log.
    Roberts,Nicholas (comp.)
    Earl Shilton:Midland Counties Publications,1980.
    p.48

Maybe someone with a copy of "The Hampden File', can add to this.

Correct Col; Harry Moyle mentioned in his Hampden File: AN155 - Sgt Hobbs and three crew all missing on night navex 4/5-"4"-43; presumed ditched off Ireland. The "4" was my problem as Brown, Hobbs and Keen are listed missing 5-"5"-43 by the CWGC.

    Henk.
