    Confirms Ruffle as pilot and states 2 killed, 3 injured.

    The No.9 (O)AFU ORB records the crew of EF952 (entered into the ORB as V7952) as

    Sgt Ruffle A.J. 1392212, Pilot, Killed
    Sgt Melvin G. 1396214, Air Bomber (u/t), Killed
    Sgt Benton W.A. 1395440, Navigator (u/t), Seriously Injured
    Sgt Richards A.J. 1579922, Wireless Operator / Air Gunner, Multiple Injuries
    Sgt Carmel G.H. 1579680, Wireless Operator / Air Gunner (u/t), Slightly Injured

    Some of the names & service numbers are smudged on the original document so might not be entirely correct.

    LAC Clifford HARDMAN - 1138047 - the Manchester Evening News of August 31st 1943 carried the following announcement:

    HARDMAN - on Agust 28th, 1943, at Foxhole Bank Farm, Crosthwaite, Kendal, Clifford Hardman, aged 36 years.

    The National Probate Calendar records this as his home address.

    Sgt (Nav/Radar) William E. SECKINGTON - 1587808 - the Graves Registration Report Form confirms his unit as 51 O.T.U.
