    This RATG base located near Bulawayo was used during WWII for Royal Air Force aircrew training. It is not known when it closed, the two bombing ranges near Bulawayo were named Mias and Myelbo from the expression; “I don’t know Mias from Myelbo.”

    Carlos Gibson Ardley 160977 , attached to Number 150 RSU, died at the Kumar Boarding site, Comilla, of a self inflicted gun shot wound

    Wilfred Henry Dumbrill 903362 , attached to HQ RAF Poona, died of cholaemia which had developed from infective hepatitis
