    UPGRADE to Arnold Alfred Larson 1133193. He was Fatally injured when Wellington HE346 exploded at Kairrouan whilst being bombed up. Taken to hospital with bomb splinter wounds, he died when pneumonia complicated his wounds, also killed instantly in the accident where . :

    The ORB is poor but there’s a notation elsewhere that states “ flying accident “
    I have no more than that in this notebook but who knows I may have more in another when I can get to wales post covid and may be able to upgrade it later

    UPGRADE to James Ewan 1368083, on 20th September 1941, he was hitchhiking to Dundee with two other airmen. A lorry approached as they were on north water bridge near Laurencekirk and Ewan stepped into the road to stop it. The lorry braked but skidded on the wet road and hit him, badly fracturing both his legs. He was conveyed to Strathcaro hospital where he died over two months later
