    James Cottam 1596259 , attached to 305 MU , died in the British military hospital at Colaba of multiple fracture of the pelvis and lacerations of the mesentery sustained in an accident

    Despite much effort and expense, I have been unable to ascertain the nature of the accident. It is not listed in his records, there is no entry in the ORB and the purchase at £11 of his overseas death certificate, states exactly the same as all other sources : fracture of the pelvis & mesentery lacerations

    Edward Sydney Gymer 1189134 | attached to Number 100 PDC | died at home at Stebert Street, Blackheath, London, SE3 whilst on discharge leave, of a coronary thrombosis
