    James Cottam 1596259 , attached to 305 MU , died in the British military hospital at Colaba of multiple fracture of the pelvis and lacerations of the mesentery sustained in an accident

    Despite much effort and expense, I have been unable to ascertain the nature of the accident. It is not listed in his records, there is no entry in the ORB and the purchase at 11 of his overseas death certificate, states exactly the same as all other sources : fracture of the pelvis & mesentery lacerations

    Edward Sydney Gymer 1189134 | attached to Number 100 PDC | died at home at Stebert Street, Blackheath, London, SE3 whilst on discharge leave, of a coronary thrombosis
